COVID-19: Appointments
COVID-19 continues to be a serious public health risk with fatal consequences. “Learning to live with and manage COVID-19” means the virus is still spreading and causing long-term health problems for many we all need to continue to be vigilant and continue to do our part to help ensure the health and safety of ourselves and of those around us and to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Notwithstanding the statements recently released by the Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Region of Waterloo Council regarding changes to the mandatory masking requirement, we feel that it is important to continue to maintain the following measures to ensure the safety of everyone in our office, which you are required to comply with if attending at our office:
- We require that you wash your hands thoroughly with soap for 20 seconds before entering our office (the bathrooms are in the hallway right before you enter our office! 😊);
- A face mask is required to be worn at all times during your appointment;
- Physical distancing measures must be adhered to while in the office;
- Walk-ins are NOT permitted. ALL WALK-INS WILL BE TURNED AWAY. Appointments must be made in advance;
- We reserve the right to turn away anyone who attends at our office displaying any cold, flu or other symptoms as listed on the Ministry of Health’s website and/or the Region of Waterloo’s website;
- If you are ill or have any cold or flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19, please do not attend at our office until you have tested negative for COVID-19.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding, kindness, respect and consideration. We want to keep our clients and staff safe, our families healthy and our community well. Let’s all be safe and we will continue to get through this together!
